Salary: £8.41 - £9.39 per hour (£19,133 - £21,362 per annum) linked to competency and qualifications. £15 per night allowance also payable. (Rates effective 1st September)

Hours: 43.75 hours per week on a shift pattern.

We’re looking for energetic and enthusiastic people who want to make a difference to our client's College team.You’ll be working with some amazing people; the students are exceptional with a range of challenges that can get in the way of everyday life but we’re here to help them.  Our client supports them with education and life skills – and of course going to festivals, sporting events and music gigs is all part of life for young people!

It can be challenging work at times, some of our students have a tough time coping.  But it’s a rewarding place to work and you’ll benefit from helping others and being part of an amazingly supportive and fun team.

The Role: This is a really important role and we are looking for candidates who are passionate in supporting young people to learn and prepare for the future. This may include learning practical skills like cooking, cleaning and budgeting and also supporting young people to manage their anxieties or social difficulties. As Night Support Worker you will facilitate and monitor the health and welfare of young people who live in the house. This includes supporting them with their free time and developing interests.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

To keep students safe
Organise and support independent living skills
Support and participate in evening leisure activities with students
Support young people to adopt a healthy sleeping pattern where possible
Promote and encourage independence
Monitor all those in your care at regular intervals through the night
Keep records accurate and up to date
Liaise with parents, guardians and colleagues

Experience:
Relevant knowledge and experience of supporting age range
