On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, caring and experienced Care Team Leader in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To be operationally responsible for your team and house.
  2. To undertake day-to day responsibility for the Home and the provision of service.
  3. To ensure that medication is ordered, administered and booked in correctly.
  4. To ensure supervision arrangements for directly managed staff comply with Your Health Group policy.
  5. To ensure that outside health professionals are arranged for residents when required.
  6. To provide advice and consultation to staff and others about specific issues and general good practice in respect of the well-being of their staff.
  7. To ensure that handovers are completed and daily reports, team leader is to ensure that the records are legible and accurate for the following:
    • Diet and Fluid Charts
    • Turn charts
    • ABC behaviour charts
    • Cream applications
    • Weekly/monthly weight records
    • BP records
  8. To ensure compliance with the regulations and requirements of the Care Quality Commission.
  9. Any issues or concerns regarding residents, team leaders to contact outside agencies for advice asap.
  10. To ensure all residents receive equal and overall best care in line with CQC standards.
  11. To report falls and complete paperwork and update care plans
  12. Coordinate cover shifts and complete rotas

Essential criteria:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care 
  • Minimum 2 years care experience
  • Fluency to communicate in English (written and spoken)
  • Availability for night shifts and on-call duty, 1 in every 4 weeks.
